What EMDR Mobile is
EMDR Mobile is a bilateral stimulation (BLS) app for clinicians who practise EMDR. The therapist sets speed, tone and volume from their own device; in online sessions the stimulus plays on the client’s device. It runs on iOS, iPadOS, Android, macOS and Windows, the client app is free, and the interface is available in 14 languages. A free browser tool for auditory and visual BLS, with no account, is at /bls/.
Who builds it
The app is published by GMY Bilişim Sanayi ve Ticaret Ltd. Şti. (Türkiye), the company named in the privacy policy and the terms of use. The guides on this site are written by Murat Yön.
Principles
- This website runs no analytics or tracking scripts.
- No session content: No audio, video, notes or client details are stored. Stimulation is generated on the devices.
- Only what the app needs: Your account email and name, your session username and code, and during online sessions the start, stop, speed, tone and volume commands. Stored in Google Firebase.
- EMDR Mobile makes no medical claims. It is a tool for trained clinicians and does not replace therapy.
